Synopsis
Women and men surround themselves with animals; they watch them grow, age, and die.
As the clock strikes midnight, memories come alive for the duration of a dance, to the music of Camille Saint-Saëns. This is the story of Bob, my childhood best friend.
Intentions
A reappropriation of Danse Macabre: from the equality of social classes in the face of death to equality between species.
A search for a shared ground of memory among all living beings.
